The Volksoper in Vienna presents a stunning stage production of Puccini's classic opera Turandot.
Puccini did not live to witness the success of Turandot at its premier at the Scala Milan in 1926. 80 years after its premiere in Milan, Franco‐Canadian directors Renaud Doucet and André Barbe direct this new production of the great, unfinished piece.

昆虫の演出に初めは面食らいましたが、慣れてくると、とてもわかりやすく斬新で、音楽の質の高さとともに、ひょっとして今まで聞いた中で最高のトゥーランドットなんじゃ? と思ったくらいでした。東洋人もがんばってる!
