Enjoy the masterpieces of Caravaggio with an enthralling Baroque concert on original instruments in the heart of Rome.

The event begins inside the beautiful private Hall of the Church, with an enthralling concert in which the Songs of Caravaggio’s time come alive with the original instruments from the period and continues with a guided tour in English language of the wonderful San Luigi dei Francesi church, an architectural jewel that hosts three Caravaggio masterpieces and canvas of Domenichino.

The second part of the concert concludes this faboulous experience alongside these masterpieces of Music and Art.

Music by: Frescobaldi, Praetorius, Monteverdi, Kapsberger, Dowland, Vecchi and others Baroque composers
performed live by Schola Romana Ensemble, resident historically informed group (Soprano, Traversa, Recorder, Dulciana, Percussions
Theorbo, Lute, Baroque guitar, Art historian)
