Let conductor Iván Fischer and the Konzerthausorchester Berlin take you away to the fairytale world of the early 20th century.

Miraculous trees, magic feathers, and two‐headed monsters are the stuff of the Russian folktale that inspired Stravinsky’s “Firebird”. Béla Bartók’s opera tells the story of “Bluebeard’s Castle”. The composer’s first and only opera was influenced by contemporary composers and by Hungarian folk music.
