Saint‐Säens' biblical opera — including the famous aria "Mon coeur s'ouvre à ta voix" — is relocated to 19th‐century France.

Patrick Kinmouth's sumptuous production relocates the action to the time of the opera's composition. The revival lasts for a short run of only 3 performances. A rare chance to hear the source of the famous orchestral "Bacchanale"!
