Symbol of a culture that all but disappeared under the repressive Khmer Rouge regime, this marvelous dance corps brings the grace and delicacy of Angkor Wat to the Salle Pleyel.

With orchestral accompaniment and a women’s chorus, the magical language of these apparently impassive dancers – the expressed emotion in this Cambodian genre is not pronounced – is communicated through the refinement, intrigue, and modesty of the dance.
