Pierre‐Laurent Aimard plays Johann Sebastian Bach

About the Event

In 2006, Pierre‐Laurent Aimard declared: “I find [Bach] impressive – so rich, so complete, so difficult to execute that there are few satisfactory interpretations of Bach on the piano.” In 2008, Aimard recorded a memorable version of The Art of the Fugue for Deutsche Grammophon to unanimous critical acclaim. In this concert, he will present the first volume of the Well‐Tempered Clavier, which he will also be recording soon for the prestigious German label.
