Enjoy a chamber music concert in the Mendelssohn family's music salon, which has been renovated to recapture its original appearance.

The famous guests of the Mendelssohn family included various representatives of the progressive bourgeoisie in Leipzig. Visitors included Robert Schumann, Clara Wieck, and Franz Liszt , as well as Richard Wagner, musicians of the Gewandhaus orchestra, teachers of the Leipzig university, and of the conservatory.

Your concert ticket also includes admission to the exhibits of the Mendelssohn House, in which the composer lived and died.
