About the Event

The Oper Leipzig presents Giancarlo del Monaco's wonderful production of Giacomo Puccini's opera Manon Lescaut.

Manon, the beautiful child of an impoverished family, is sent to a convent. Along her journey she meets the young aristocrat Des Grieux who falls in love with her at first sight. But their only chance to live together is to flee to Paris…
