About the Event

Conductor Andrés Orozco‐Estrada joins the Austrian Tonkünstler for a special concert performance of two extraordinarily innovative orchestral works: Charles Ives' The Unanswered Question and Mahler's Symphony No. 6 in A Minor.

Gustav Mahler and his American contemporary Charles Ives were two eminent composers of the late Romantic and early modernist period. Both artists combined apparently trivial sounds of everyday life with deep spirituality in their works.
