Lander & Forsythe: Paris Opera Ballet
About the Event
The Paris Opera Ballet performs Harald Lander's "Études" and two works by William Forsythe at Palais Garnier.
Lander's ballet can be seen as a manifesto of classical technique, emphasizing purity, rigour and precision. In contrast, Forsythe's work sheds new light on this academic heritage, deconstructing and reconstructing its vocabulary.
