A crime story on board of a Parisian barge ("The Cloak") and the turbulent comedic action taking place in Florence during the Middle Ages ("Gianni Schicchi") meet in Puccini's "Il Trittico", three one-act operas thematically contrasting each other.
The first and final of these operas will be performed at the Volksoper Vienna.
