Handel's Messiah: Academy of Ancient Music & Bernard Labadie, Salle Pleyel

About the Event

Conductor Bernard Labadie conducts Handel's traditional Christmas pillar -- though it was in fact composed for Easter -- with the Academy of Ancient Music, unquestioned champions of period performance, and a cast of brilliant vocal soloists.

The 1742 'sacred oratorio' will be performed on period instruments with soloists Lydia Teuscher, Jeremy Ovenden, Andrew Foster‐Williams, and Iestyn Davies.
