Goûts Réunis: Jordi Savall & Le Concert des Nations
About the Event
The title of Goûts Réunis (gathered tastes) first appeared in François Couperin's second chamber music collection, published in 1724, which combines various elements of existing musical styles during his periods in France and Italy.
Now Savall conducts pieces by French and German composers of those days: Francois Couperin, Marin Marais, Jean‐Baptiste Forqueray, Jean‐Philippe Rameau, Georg Philipp Telemann, Jean‐Marie Leclair, and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.
