Acclaimed Italian bass Ferrucio Furlanetto stars in the lead role of the Canadian Opera Company's charismatic and beautiful production of Don Quichotte, Spain's beloved literary hero.

Directed by Linda Brovsky, characters come to life on a stage designed by Donald Eastman that pays tribute to romance and literature. Soaring melodies and fiery Spanish rhythms punctuate the score by Jules Massenet.

Sung in French with English surtitles.
