Benedetti/Elschenbroich/Grynyuk Trio: Concertgebouw

About the Event

Nicola Benedetti's trio visits Amsterdam.

Since her performance as part of the BBC Proms, Nicola Benedetti has been a household name, performing solo recitals and concertos around the world. But she also has a passion for chamber music, which she indulges with her pianist Alexei Grynyuk (who's been hailed as the "reincarnation of Horowitz") and cellist Leonard Elschenbroich, who also has a successful solo career.

The highlight of the programme is Rachmaninov's Trio élégiaque, op. 9, which the trio pair with Schubert's famous B‐flat major trio, D. 898, and the Dutch premiere of Butterflies Remember a Mountain, by American composer Arlene Sierra.
