Sei solo is the name of the film about violinist Liza Ferschtman, and it's also the title given to the six solo pieces that J. S. Bach wrote for the violin: three partitas, full of dance movements of the time, and three sonatas, each featuring a fugue — separate voices all played on just one instruments.

The famous Chaconne is taken from the Second Partita, in D minor, and will be performed in its rightful place.
