About the Event

Unlike his Christmas Oratorio, J.S. Bach's Easter Oratorio has no narrator but has four characters assigned to the four voice parts: Simon Peter, John the Apostle, Mary Magdalene, and “the other Mary,” Mary Jacobe. This festive work offers a joyful finale to the Saint Thomas Church concert season.
