A Midsummer Night's Dream: Komische Oper Berlin

About the Event

The Komische Oper Berlin presents Benjamin Britten's most famous opera, A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Britten chose one of the most amusing yet profound of Shakespeare's works as the basis for what must be his most famous opera. The colorful instrumentation, the poetic musical language, and an original cast (Oberon as countertenor, Puck as a speaking role) lead us straight into a fantastic, magical world.

In German, with German, English, French, and Turkish subtitles.
