About the event 'Ysaÿe Quartet'

The renowned Ysaÿe Quartet presents a programme of three compositions by the most famous composers of the 19th century, at the Grand Théâtre de Provence.

Written with feverish enthusiasm, Schubert's String Quartet in B flat major is a singularly sweet, serious, and light work of chamber music.

Brahms' Quartet in c minor is a sombre, powerful, and lamenting piece in the tradition of Beethoven, whose Quartet in e minor is also on the programme.
