Puccini did not live to witness his opera Turandot's popularity when it was premiered at the Scala Milan in 1926. Unfortunately, he died in 1924 leaving the opera unfinished.
80 years after its premiere at the Scala Milan, the Franco-Canadian successful directors-duo Renaud Doucet and André Barbe will direct this opera in this Volksopera production.
