About 'Schönbrunner Schlosskapelle'
The Schönbrunner Schlosskapelle was built in the years 1754 and 1755. Fascinated by its special architecture, the Habsburg emperor frequently organised festivities with a musical programme. At one of these occassions, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Sallieri conducted on this site of the Orangerie Schönbrunn - a unique competition in music history.
