ABOUT THE EVENT
Charlottenburg Palace, the sumptuous Baroque summer residence of Prussian kings, has been a center for artistic creation and appreciation since its early days. This new concert series at Charlottenburg Palace's Grand Orangery offers locals and tourists a unique opportunity to experience Berlin's Baroque era.
In a truly exquisite candlelight ambiance, the Berlin Palace Orchestra presents musical masterpieces, sweeping audiences away to the golden era of Baroque and Classical music. Enjoy this musical journey back in time at one of the most historic and exclusive venues in Berlin. All members of the orchestra and staff are dressed in historic costumes, creating a unique combination of the magic of times past and the amenities of modern day life.
The Berlin Palace Orchestra has been formed exclusively for the concert series at Charlottenburg Palace. All members of the ensemble are highly professional and respected musicians from Berlin who show a deep understanding of and love for late Baroque and Classical music. Endowed with a special feeling for the music, the orchestra presents the most outstanding works of the era to today's audience.
Important information:
We recommend that individual guests take the palace tour between 10:00 am and 04:00 p.m. Please be aware that the palace closes at 5:15 p.m. You have the option of visiting Charlottenburg Palace at any time of your choice during official opening hours.
Prior to the event, please go to the "Kleine Orangerie Charlottenburg" in the Orangerie Charlottenburg (the address is Spandauer Damm 22-24, 14059 Berlin). Please show that you have received the Classictic-Voucher, in order to pick up the tickets for the palace tour, dinner and concert. Opening hours: Monday through Saturday 9.00 am until 6.00 pm.
Right before the concert, you will be served the Orangery Menu dinner at the Orangerie.
Dinner is followed by a concert including masterpieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, King Frederick the Great, Luigi Boccerini, Georg Friedrich Händel and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, performed by the Berlin Palace Orchestra.

10.00 am - 4.00 pm: Palace Tour
6.00 pm: Dinner at the Orangerie, Charlottenburg
8.00 pm: Admission to the concert
8.30 pm: Concert start
