Giacomo Puccini had to wait nearly ten years to be able to compose the music of Tosca, the famous play by Victorien Sardou, the opera was an enormous success right from the beginning, the premiere was presented in October 1899 in Rome. The opera in three acts will be presented in the intimate setting of the Anglican Church with five singers in costumes, accompanied by piano, the story will be explained in english before every act.
