About the event
Two symphonies of the Haydn-brothers frame a concert of Mozart. Michael Haydn is the younger brother of Joseph and close friend to Mozart. He wrote nearly as many sinfonies as Joseph, which are rarely performed today. Mozart wrote his concert for a student, Haydn increased the facilities of the orchestra at Esterhazy with his symphonie -

Since more than six decades the KOB (Chamber Orchestra Berlin) has been acting in the musical life of Berlin. Since 1995 the musical direction lies in the hands of Katrin Scholz, Solo-violine. The conductor is Michael Sanderling. The KOB has several CD-Recordings and own concert series at the Philharmony and at the "Konzerthaus".
