ABOUT THE EVENT

During this year's Spitalfields Summer Festival, Thomas Gould (violin) and Philip Higham (cello) will perform music of Johann Sebastian Bach and Zoltán Kodály at London's Shoreditch Church.

Arguably one of the greatest works written for solo cello, Bach’s Suite No. 3 in C Major, is followed by Kodály’s Duo for violin and cello, written in 1914 at the height of the composer’s interest in Hungarian folk music.

These two wonderful pieces will be performed by two of the UK’s freshest young talents.
