Music Summer: Venice Baroque Orchestra, Kozená, Marcon

The Venice Baroque Orchestra and the famous mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kozená perform works by Händel and Vivaldi under the baton of Andrea Marcon.

In the evening, historically informed performance specialist Andrea Marcon and his Venice Baroque Orchestra present selected works by baroque figures of the likes of Vivaldi and Handel. Besides splendid instrumental works, the cornucopia filled to bursting also pours out arias from Handel’s most beautiful operas and oratorios. Celebrated mezzo-soprano Magdalena Kožená is the perfect choice for this sensuous and virtuosic music.
