"Dark Waters" is a Western-piece and operates with well-known elements: gangsters, sheriffs, a love-story, the brave protagonist and the triumph of justice. It seems to be the descendant of Schuberts chants about water-creatures.

The thrill of human existenz in a metaphoric manner - where "true emotions lie under a cover of a coldness" - shows the character of an enigmatic girl that jumps into a boat. Everybody could find his inner thoughts in this character.
