Vladimir Jurowski conducts the London Philharmonic Orchestra at Berlin's unique Philharmonie during the "musikfest berlin 10".

The "musikfest berlin", Berlin’s major festival for orchestral music, will once again open the city’s concert season this year. At the heart of this year's festival programme will be the musical oeuvres of Pierre Boulez – the great French composer and conductor, whose 85th birthday is being celebrated this year throughout the musical world – and of his Italian composer-colleague Luciano Berio.

The LPO performs an exciting programme of 20th century compositions, including the German premiere of Luciano Berio's "Stanze" for baritone, 3 male choirs and orchestra.
