Music Summer: Tonkünstler Orchestra, Schiff
ABOUT THE EVENT
The Tonkünstler-Orchester Niederösterreich and the cellist and conductor Heinrich Schiff perform works by Haydn and Brahms in Grafenegg.
Conductor and cellist Heinrich Schiff can look back on a decades-long career, during which he played and conducted guest performances with major orchestras and at important festivals.
In 2010, Grafenegg is once again on Heinrich Schiff’s agenda, where he performs with the Tonkünstler Orchestra in a double function. After his interpretation of the Cello Concerto in C major by Joseph Haydn, the artist from Gmunden takes the stand to conduct the Tonkünstler playing the final symphony by Johannes Brahms.
