The OBC will perform works by Mahler, Parra and Mozart, under the baton of Lothar Zagrosek, in this wonderful concert at the Auditori of Barcelona.

Now a classic, Gustav Mahler's Symphony no. 5 is one of the most well known pieces of music, with a famous Adagietto immortalised by Visconti in his film Death in Venice.
Héctor Parra is one of the greatest exponents of contemporary Catalan composition. Proof of this is the extraordinary work that he is undertaking, with numerous public recognitions from Paris' IRCAM: the acoustic research institute founded by Pierre Boulez, who is also one of greatest defenders of Mahler's work. The OBC will be premiering this work by Parra.
