La Piccola Lirica presents its unique pocket size version of Verdi's "La Traviata", combining elements of the opera with new audio technology, at the Teatro Flaiano in Rome's historic centre.
 
The Piccola Lirica (shortened opera) is a 90 minute long adaptation of the opera, with a focus on its most popular arias and melodies.
The Piccola Lirica Midi Orchestra is a fusion of singers, new digital audio technology, keyboard players, and a conductor. In order to create this pocket size "La Traviata", four musicians use electronic keyboards and samplers to play the parts usually performed by 60 musicians.

For its contemporary adaptation, Piccola Lirica has been noted by the newspapers The Independent (April 15, 2007) and The New York Times as an enjoyable for a variety of spectators of all ages.
