ABOUT THE EVENT

Enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner at the "Festung Hohensalzburg" restaurant, followed by a concert of Mozart's music in the "Fürstenzimmer" - the most magnificent part of the Hohensalzburg fortress, with a view of Salzburg and its surrounding countryside.

The "Dinner & Best of Mozart Festungskonzert" (Salzburg Fortress Concert), with its 300 concerts a year, is widely regarded as one of the most important chamber music series in the world. Highly qualified musicians and internationally recognised soloists offer excellent performances of the works of W.A. Mozart.

The "Dinner & Best of Mozart Festungskonzert" not only ensure the highest quality of musical performance, but also offer the unique atmosphere of the 900 year old Festung Hohensalzburg. It is the hallmark of the "Mozart City" of Salzburg, and the view of the city from the concert hall is beyond compare.

1pm VIP Dinner in the Festung Hohensalzburg restaurant
3pm Concert in the Burgsaal

Please note: in March 2012, the concert will take place in the "Wappensaal" (Coat of Arms Hall) of the fortress.

Between the 12th July and 21th July 2012, the concerts will be performed open air in the courtyard of the castle. In case of bad weather, the concert will take place at the "Goldenen Saal."
