Even the bible knows about the power of the trumpet. "The trumpets of Jericho" are symbols for strength not only because of the precious material. Until the period of Barock trumpets were known mainly as the instruments for military or court music and gradually was discovered for artificial music.

Composers and noblemen both loved the brilliant sound. Enjoy the impressive works of the works of Stölzel, Bach, Aldrovandini, Mouret, Caldara and Telemann!

Ranch, Lars, Soloist
Lars Ranch is a Danish trumpet player.
Since 1994 Lars Ranch is soloist with the RSO in Berlin. He studied in Kopenhagen and Paris and awarded several prizes. He performed as soloist with the Israel Chamber Orchestra, The Presidential Symphony Orchestra(Ankara), Magdeburger Philharmonie, Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, Staatskapelle Weimar, Klassische Philharmonie Bonn, Kammerorchester Berlin, RSO Kopenhagen, Virtuosi Saxonie (with L. Güttler).
