About the event
The Ensemble Matheus and the famous mezzo-soprano Susan Graham perform arias from Mozart operas "Le Nozze di Figaro" and "Mitridate", and Haydn's "Symphony in G minor".

Violinist and conductor Jean-Christophe Spinosi, who founded the versatile Ensemble Matheus in 1993, will conduct this concert. In the past years, Spinosi and his ensemble have worked together with renowned soloists and performed in all genres, from concertos to operas, from symphonies to masses.

In summer 2008 in Vienna, Spinosi conducted the Magic Flute in the Theater an der Wien. In Budapest he will accompany Susan Graham, one of the brightest opera stars and “America’s favourite mezzo”.
