About the event
Nobody leaves cold with deFilharmonieThe programm of the season 2008/2009 includes works of russian composers as Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and Shostakovitsch, aswell as works of Mendelssohn, Bruckner and Mozart. The musical director Phillippe Herrewhege and and the new chief conductor Jaap van Zweden meet with such excellent musicians as Rudolf Buchbinder, Simon Trpceski or Yossif Ivanov. The Royal Flemish Philharmonic has evolved into a modern, stylistically flexible symphony orchestra. This ensemble has gained an artistic suppleness that permits it to interpret a variety of styles - from Classical to Modern - in a historically authentic manner.
Enjoy this outstanding ensemble in a series of concerts in Brussels!
