Since Johann Strauss' waltzes 'An der schönen blauen Donau“ the river Danube is attached to the Viennese music world!

With this package, you will enjoy a cruise on the Danube, a great dinner and a concert at the castle Schönbrunn. The concert will of course include melodies by Johann Strauss - played by the Schloss Schönbrunn Orchester Vienna.

The concert will take place at the Orangerie, a part of the famous Schloss Schönbrunn which is listed at the UNESCO-Worldheritage.
The dinner - a 3-course meal-  will be served at the Café-Restaurant Residenz:

-Salmon-variations
-Turkey-filet with tomatoes and the special Herzoginnen-potatoes
-Mousse au Chocolat by the Landtmanns Patisserie
-The Restaurant will serve also a vegetarian menu!
(drinks excluded)

The cruise by the company DDSG departs each day at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 12:30 pm and 2:00pm from the Schwedenplatz and will arrive there as well. From there it is easy to get to the concert at the castle which is located at the U4-Tube Station "Schönbrunn".

A great combination to see experience the greatest highlights of the cultural Vienna!


Schedule:
- your choice in the morning or afternoon: Cruise "Große Donaurundfahrt" departure from the Schwedenplatz. Our suggested cruise time: at 2pm til 5.20pm
- 6.00pm Dinner at the Café́-Restaurant Residenz
- from 8.00pm entrance Orangerie Schönbrunn
- 8.30pm Concert
- ca. 10.15pm end of the performance
