ABOUT THE EVENT
The Latvian National Ballet presents Lèo Delibes' ballet Coppélia - a vibrant, colorful comedy - inspired by the deeply romantic and yet mysterious story of the German writer E.T.A. Hoffmann.
Franz is infatuated with Coppélia, a life-size mechanical doll that he believes to be human. Swanilda, his true love, wins him back by pretending to be the doll.
