, Soloistpianist, organist and Bartok-Pasztori prize awarded conductor represents strong Hungarian music tradition. He has graduated from Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, since 1984 has been member of the Hungarian State Opera, debuted as an opera conductor in 1989 as well as has been the first conductor of the National Theatre of Gyor and faculty member of the Music Academy of Gyor. Between 1989 and 1992 he has taught future conductors at the Respighi Academy in Rome, Italy being an assistant of the famous conductor Moshe Atzmon. Gyula Pfeiffer has performed as a pianist, organist and conductor in many countries including Austria, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Finland, Italy and others and has conducted compositions of Verdi, Puccini, Mozart, Humperdinck to name just a few.
