About the event 'Bologna Festival: Martha Argerich & Friends'

The 28th edition of the Bologna Festival presents a selection of concerts that highlight the diversity of the classical music repertoire, performed by a spectacular line-up of artists and ensembles. Enjoy in this concert a performance of the pianist Martha Argerich with her friends Gabriele Baldocci and Walter Delahunt.

The greatest composers of the 20th century are represented in the Bologna Festival, and there will be seven premieres of works written for the festival by local contemporary composers. But baroque music also plays a large role in the festival program, with works by Monteverdi, Galuppi, Vivaldi, Bach and a homage to Händel for the 250th anniversary of his death.
