ABOUT THE EVENT
Classical music by candlelight: The "Adventserenaden" in the historic Gothic Hall features Advent and Christmas melodies, popular works of C. Franck, E. Humperdinck, R. Stolz and C. Saint-Saens and Austrian folk music and stories.
This is one of the most popular and lovely holiday events in Salzburg. The Advent Serenades are performed by the Mozartserenaden-Ensemble together with the Ruperti Quartet, Maria Hauser (soprano) and Margarita Ruprecht (reading).
