About the event
At this year's International Organsummer, renown artists from Europe are invited to the Berlin Cathedral.

In their solo programmes, organists such as Roland Maria Stangier, Olivier Eisenmann, Michael Hedley, Halgeir Schiager, Thierry Escaich, Thomasz Nowak, Ben van Oosten and of course cathedral organist Andreas Sieling will be playing compositions by Bach, Franck, Dupre and many others from 5th July until 23rd August 2008.

The Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral) is located at the historic 'Museum Island' and was rebuilt in 1905.
The church has a rich decorated interior and a magnificent Sauer's Organ which was built at the same time as the cathedral.

Nowadays, the Sauer's Organ is the biggest organ from the "late romanitic" times - which you can enjoy in this special summer festival of the Berliner Dom!
