Composer-in-residence Heinz Holliger conducts the Scharoun Ensemble and the Zermatt Festival Orchestra in a performance including Mendelssohn's "Italian" Symphony at the Zermatt Festival.

The Zermatt Festival fills the breathtaking Matterhorn village with music. World-class musicians bring the beauty and fascination of classical music to this idyllic mountain village. Founded in 2005, the Festival works in close partnership with the musicians of Berlin's Scharoun Ensemble, upholding high musical standards and attracting excellent artists.

Mendelssohn's thrilling Fourth Symphony is a perfect way to round out two weeks of music at the Zermatt Festival.
