For this 100 % Fauré concert the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie and its musical director, the great violinist Augustin Dumay has assembled a sparkling and youthful ensemble.

The conductor is the Frenchman Jérémie Rhorer, born in 1973, hailed as the "Révélation musicale de l'année 2008" by French critics and recently acclaimed at the Brussels opera house for his Nozze di Figaro. The Requiem features a number of talented young performers currently honing their skills with José van Dam at the Queen Elisabeth College of Music.
