The Bayerisches Staatsorchester München and pianist Nikolai Lugansky perform under the baton of Kent Nagano at the Music Festival Grafenegg.

When acknowledged master interpreters of Romantic music get together, one can only hope that works are on the agenda to match the line-up. These requirements are fully met with Schumann’s Piano Concerto and Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7. The wonderful pieces are performed by the Bavarian State Orchestra Munich under its Principal Conductor Kent Nagano, and the Russian magician on the piano, Nikolai Lugansky, whose breath-taking technique allows him to create his interpretations freely and authentically.

 

Admission to the additional events (i.e. pre-concert talks, préludes and soirée) is included in the ticket of the main concert:
