Crossover is a constant feature of the work of Riccardo Nova, a Milanese composer who is particularly fond of the Carnatic music of southern India.

Nova's psychedelic music combines rhythmic virtuosity with a sacred study of numbers, to which his latest composition owes its name, "Primes", a reference to prime numbers. Three Indian musicians join forces with five members of Ictus.
