Baroque music ensemble Il Giardino Armonico performs Handel's oratorio La Resurrezione at the Budapest Spring Festival 2010.

Many have tried to approach the success of Il Giardino Armonico and copy the distinctive style of their performances. But in music, as in all other things, the genuine original is the best. At the Spring Festival the Italian star ensemble will perform an early Handel oratorio, written during the composer's period in Rome.

Handel's setting of the Resurrection story is a perfect to enjoy as Easter approaches in Budapest.
