Laurence Equilbey conducts the Accentus ensemble and
 pianist 
Brigitte Engerer in a performance of vocal works from the "Last Flames of Romanticism" at the Grand Théâtre de Provence.

The works of Schumann and Liszt are separated by almost fifty years from those of Wolf and Mahler, but they share a certain unbounded approach and extreme attention to individual sentiment.

Whether Romantic or Post-Romantic, each piece on this programme is an expression of an individual, the reflection of a single spirit in the face of its life and destiny.
