About the event
The Berlin Cathedral offers a great variety of concerts; from choir music to early music and of course also organ concerts.

The classical programme is performed by renown local, national and international artists. The church itself also hosts two great choirs - the Berliner Domkantorei and the Staats- und Domchor Berlin who perform regularly during church service and also for special concert series at the cathedral.

Since 2005, the Berlin Cathedral has extended its concert programme with the Internationale Orgelsommer (International Organsummer), Musica Mystica (mostly Gregorian songs), early music concerts and also contemporary compositions.

The Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral)
is located at the historic 'Museum Island' and was rebuilt in 1905 and has a rich decorated interior and the magnificent Sauer's Organ which was built at the same time as the cathedral. Nowadays, the Sauer's Organ is the biggest organ from the "late romantic" times.

At this year's programme, you will certainly enjoy a concert in the most beautiful atmosphere.
