Virtuosi di Venezia: Vivaldi and Opera
About the event
With their music the Virtuosi di Venezia (San Marco Chamber Orchestra) let revive the time, when Antonio Vivaldi lived in Venice. Starting from 1703 Vivaldi worked here as a violin teacher, later he worked as a the violin master. However in this time over 60 works of the famous Italian composer were written. Starting from 1714 Antonio Vivaldi was the director of the Sant'Angelo theatre. In 1740 he left Venice. Let the sounds of the music of Vivaldi and Mozart charm you and listen to a program with the most beautiful works of the two famous and other composers.
